MCR WARRANTY POLICY
Thank you for your purchase of MCR products.
We are proud to build and supply the highest quality aftermarket automotive products for all your applications.
While we utilize the best manufacturing practices, there are occasional cases of product failure, and this warranty covers these instances.
MCR is not liable for any charges incurred by the Customer relating to installation, repair or removal of MCR product offerings. Nor are MCR responsible for any return shipping on any warranties or returns.
Customer assumes all responsibility for professional installation of all units. MCR is not liable for any damages incurred by the installation of any MCR product, whether properly or improperly installed.
Any expedited shipping costs are not eligible for refund.
MCR warrants that this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship. Our warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective units only. We do not offer refunds on any item that has been installed.
If you believe your MCR product is defective, it must be returned to MCR for inspection by our warranty claims department.
After inspection, MCR will verify that the defect was not caused by negligence, abuse, unauthorized repair or disassembly, MCR will determine whether the product will be repaired or replaced in accordance with MCR Warranty*.
TO BEGIN YOUR WARRANTY CLAIM:
You must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. To get your RMA number, please begin your claim: Here.
Once you have an RMA number, the product must be shipped back to Motor City Reman prepaid.
Ship product to: 21129 Gratiot Ave, Eastpointe, MI 48021.
• Please include a copy of your original invoice (proof of purchase).
• Please be sure that your RMA number is clearly marked on your documentation as well as on the outside of the packaging used for shipping.
• Please include a short note on the problem you are experiencing.
• By completing the steps above, this will ensure faster processing of your claim so that MCR can get your product back to you as quickly as possible.

*MCR LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY:
If MCR determines, in its sole discretion, that your product is defective in material or workmanship, MCR will honor your warranty claim. In some cases the product will be replaced, depending on the specific timeframe of the purchase. If the product is repaired, all parts, labor, and return shipping will be covered by MCR.
WARRANTY EXCEPTIONS
• 2 year limited warranty – All Non-Custom Automotive, Lawn & Garden, Motorcycle, Marine & Powersports
• 1 year limited warranty – All Industrial and Agriculture products, and all Electrical Components
• No warranty offered – Merchandise, Apparel, Close-out, Clearance, Discontinued and “AS IS” units.
MCR, at its sole discretion, will determine the proper handling of all warranty claims.
All warranties, expressed or implied, are void if our warranty claim department determines that there is sufficient evidence of one or more of the following:
1. Negligence: Improper installation, improper use, etc.
2. Abuse: Road hazards, Damage beyond the limits of "normal wear and tear."
3. Unauthorized Repair: Repair service performed by an unauthorized service center.
4. Seal Tampering: Removal of bezel or bezel screws will compromise the integrity of the water-tight seal.
Without having your original proof of purchase available, the MCR Limited Lifetime Warranty could be voided.
HOW MANY REPLACEMENTS AM I ELIGIBLE FOR?
You are eligible for one replacement unit during the course of the warranty.
If at any point during the warranty period (One Year, Two Years or Lifetime depending on the unit) something happens as a result of a manufacturers defect, you are eligible for a free replacement after you have shipped the unit back to us and we have approved that it is warranty-able. Once the unit has been replaced, the warranty has been completed and it will no longer be eligible for replacement. In some cases, the unit could still be repairable, but not without prior expressed consent from MCR.
All warranties are non-transferable.

MCR RETURNS POLICY
Refunds or exchanges for incorrect items are only available within 30 days of when your order is received.
It is the responsibility of the customer to verify the correct application information prior to purchasing any product from MOTOR CITY REMAN.
Any purchases made in error, bought by mistake, no longer wanted, or returned to sender due to an incorrect address are subject to an applicable restocking fee up to 40% and require a return authorization number.
In these cases, the return shipping costs will also be deducted from the refund using our discounted shipping rates.
Buyers are responsible for the shipping of any international orders.
Items returned must be in brand new unused condition. We only accept returns for items that have not been used or installed in any way whatsoever.
Any eligible items returned in any condition other than brand new will be subject to an additional restocking fee at our discretion or in some cases the return will be denied.
Once the unit has been installed (plugged in, mounted, dropped, modified) in any way so that it cannot be resold as new, it is no longer eligible for refund.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
MCR Does not accept returns or exchanges on electrical components.
Electrical/electronic parts are easily damaged by improper installation or testing. Because electronics are very sensitive to voltage overloads, it does not take much of a voltage spike to ruin a component.
This may seem unfair to some customers, but it protects the next customer who might get a bad part that had been returned.
The list below provides a high-level list of merchandise that is classified as non-returnable per our Return Policy. This list represents most but not necessarily all of the non-returnable parts.

MY ITEM ARRIVED DAMAGED / I RECEIVED THE WRONG PART
If your item arrived damaged, or you received an incorrect item, we’ll need photos to verify the damage and/or to confirm which incorrect item was shipped. This will expedite the process of correcting the issue for you.
Refunds or exchanges for items received damaged are only available within 48 hours of when your order is received.
Once we receive your photos, we will work to resolve your issue. Please reach out to our team right away by emailing us here. We’ll resolve your issue as soon as possible!
We are not responsible for any damages to any merchandise once the item has been installed, or during its transit back to us. Please ensure there is enough packing materials surrounding the unit so that it is stable and unable to movie in the box during shipping.

IF YOU DO NOT PUT ANY PAPERWORK IN BOX WITH RETURN UNIT, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TELL WHO THE RETURN IS FROM.
ALL PACKAGES THAT COME IN WITHOUT PAPERWORK WILL BE GIVEN VERY LOW PRIORITY.
